RILTA Environmental is an EPA Licensed Total Hazardous Waste Management company which has the knowledge and expertise to deal with your waste oils in an efficient, compliant and cost effective way.
Under EEC Directive 75/439/EEC all waste oils are considered to be hazardous and must be dealt with in a compliant manner. RILTA Environmental will collect your waste oils under our National Waste Collection permit number WCP-DC-09-1192-01, supply you with cradle to grave certification and process your collected material at our facility under EPA Licence W0192-3 providing compliance with all directives and legislation.
RILTA Environmental’s facility is licensed to reprocess your waste oil and reintroduce it to the market for use as a fuel in ‘hot mix’ plants in the Asphalt/Quarry sector throughout Ireland as a substitute for heavy fuel oil.
We have a nationwide service that meets the needs of the Industrial sector e.g. pharmaceutical and chemical plants; Engineering sector e.g. Welding shops and heavy engineering business; Automotive sector e.g. Garages and logistic firms; Marine sector e.g. Port authorities, ships and stevedoring companies and Agricultural sector e.g. Farm supplies, farms and agricultural contractors. Our comprehensive range of services, utilising specialised methods of collection, confined space entry and tank cleaning, reprocessing/treatment and disposal, provide convenient ways of dealing with all hazardous waste materials. We operate the largest hazardous waste management fleet in Ireland.

Other non-standard waste oils can also be collected by arrangement, as well as other garage waste materials.
* Please note that waste oil must not be mixed with anti-freeze, brake fluid, chlorinated solvents, grease, petrol or other workshop generated liquid waste.
Waste Oil must be disposed/recovered in an approved manner. It must be collected by an authorised collector with an appropriate waste collection permit. It is an offence under the Waste Management Act to burn waste oil in the absence of a waste licence. Please refer to the PDF or from the EPA website.
